HEDS & DEKS is a digital magazine featuring a curated collection of people, places, spaces, things + gatherings in the Mountain West and beyond. Our roots are in print journalism, but we love the creativity and connection that a digital format provides. Our focus at H&D is fashion, style, travel, culture, food, drink, decor, design, beauty, wellness, weddings, and celebrations. We're champions of the small and the boutique, the artistic and the creative, and the inclusive and intentional. We value authenticity, diversity, equality, sustainability, vision, and voice. We love travel near and far, and we’re always on the hunt for the best hidden gems, local haunts, and far-flung treasures. Most of all, we love a good story, and we believe everyone has a story to tell.

H&D is edited by Tessa Woolf, a freelance writer, editor, consultant, and stylist. She spent 10 years working as a journalist in magazine publishing before bidding her desk job adieu to pursue freelance work and personal projects like H&D. (You can take the girl out of the magazine, but you can’t take the magazine out of the girl.)

Woolf previously held positions as the Editor-in-Chief of Salt Lake/Park City Bride & Groom Magazine and Utah Bride and Groom Magazine, Style Editor of Park City Magazine, Managing Editor of Utah Style & Design, and Contributing Editor for Salt Lake Magazine. Her work has also appeared in the pages of Aspen Sojourner Magazine, Portland Monthly Magazine, Seattle Met Magazine, Portland Bride & Groom, and Seattle Met Bride & Groom.
