Whether you’re raising a glass in honor of the holidays or toasting to fresh starts in the new year, we love any excuse to pop a bottle of bubbly and clink glasses with friends and loved ones. These five sparkling wines—including a true Champagne (from the Champagne region of France), a dry Cava (Spain’s version of a sparkler), and a light Prosecco (Italy’s answer to bubbly)—are cause for celebration anytime of year. We like to serve our bubbly with salty snacks like olives, Manchego cheese, popcorn, and potato chips. Clink, clink!
