WELL WED: Princess Beatrice's Intimate Royal Wedding at Windsor
Congratulations to HRH Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi!
The royal duo wed in a hushed, intimate ceremony at the Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge in Windsor last Friday, July 17. Her Majesty The Queen and The Duke Of Edinburgh attended the private celebration; there were only 20 guests in attendance.
We love the couple’s lush wedding blooms (courtesy of London-based Rob Van Helden Floral Design), and the bride’s sentimental ensemble: Princess Bea wore her grandmother‘s vintage ivory taffeta and Duchess satin gown by Norman Hartnell (Bea modernized the dress by adding sweet organza puff sleeves), and she donned the same diamond fringe tiara the Queen wore for her own historic walk down the aisle in 1947. Talk about the ultimate something borrowed.
