Currently Reading: "American Royals" by Katharine McGee

With the holidays approaching, we're always looking for something fun, light, and entertaining to read this time of year. Cue "American Royals" by Katharine McGee. The first book in this modern monarchy series reimagines what America would look like if George Washington had been crowned king following the American Revolution. Two and a half centuries later, the House of Washington still sits on the throne. The story follows America's royal family and heirs to the throne, and all the drama and heartbreak that ensues.

This book has been called a cross between "Crazy Rich Asians" and "The Crown" (two of our favorites!). And with the return of “The Crown” season 4, we've got all things royals on the brain so it feels like the perfect time to dive in!
