5 Spring Makeup Must-Haves
As the days get warmer and sunnier, we’re switching up our daily makeup routine to incorporate lighter, brighter beauty products. We’re currently loving the following finds:
1. Westman Atelier Baby Cheeks Blush Stick in Petal: The perfect dusty nude-rose hue to impart a soft flush of color on your cheeks and lips. We dab this on the apples of our cheeks and on our lips, and then pat to blend with our fingertips. The clean, creamy formula blends super well and is easy to layer for more color. You can also dab this on your eyelids for a hint of color.
2. Westman Atelier Lit Up Highlight Stick: If we could only live with one makeup product for the rest of our lives, it would be a toss up between this and mascara. It melts into your skin for a glowing finish and feels more like a lightweight serum or moisturizer than actual makeup thanks to clean, good-for-your skin ingredients. We glide this highlighter over our eyelids, on top of our cheekbones, and our Cupid’s bow for a healthy glow and natural looking radiance. We truly can’t say enough good things about this product! If you only invest in one Westman Atelier item, we recommend this.
3. Marc Jacobs Beauty Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara: We got a sample of this mascara from Sephora and it was love at first application. The formula glides over lashes for a dark, dramatic finish but somehow never gets clumpy, goopy, or spidery.
4. Urban Decay Naked Skin Color Correcting Fluid in Peach: This has been our go-to concealer for the past couple of years. The formula is silky smooth so it blends into your skin rather than sit on top of it, and provides coverage without being caked. We're not fans of foundation for our skin (we prefer more natural-looking coverage), so we use this daily for coverage under our eyes and on red patches due to mild rosacea.
5. Glossier Boy Brow: Last but certainly not least, this is our favorite makeup product for beautifying our brows. We use Boy Brow in Brown to tame, enhance, and fluff up our eyebrows. Some days we’ll just use Boy Brow and a swipe of lip gloss for an easy WFH beauty look.
