If you’re looking for the socially distanced après ski scene in Deer Valley, head to the St. Regis Bar and Brasserie 7452 in The St. Regis Deer Valley and get cozy by the fire with a glass of champagne and French comfort foods like steak frites and coq au vin. And if you’re looking for some of the best seafood in Park City, book a table at RIME Restaurant, also in the St. Regis Deer Valley. Formerly J&G Grill, the new-ish restaurant is helmed by Chef Matt Harris (of Tupelo on Main Street and Afterword in Heber City) who’s bringing a taste of New England’s coast to Deer Valley’s mountains.

To start our meal, we dove head first into a half dozen delicious oysters washed down with bubbly. Then we rolled up our sleeves to devour RIME’s Maine lobster roll. You know it’s going be good when butter drips down your hands with every bite. It’s been said that lobsters are monogamous, and we’d gladly take this decadent lobster roll as our life partner. Bring your appetite and extra napkins.

We also sampled the burger at Brasserie 7452, because while you should never judge a book by its cover you should judge a restaurant by its burger. This one made with a double patty, gruyère cheese, and fried onions definitely passed the test. And for the grand finale, as a reward for burning all those calories skiing, we highly suggest you indulge with the scrumptious chocolate pot de crème and a frothy cappuccino. The perfect end to a delicious and delightful snowy afternoon.
