We first learned about Susanne Kaufmann’s natural skincare line last spring at the beginning of the pandemic. In those early anxious weeks of lockdown, we were desperately seeking self-care and our stressed-out, sleep-deprived skin needed a serious dose of pampering. Fortunately, our friends at Cake Boutique came to our rescue and introduced us to Susanne Kaufmann and, well, it was love at first application.
The holistic skincare collection hails from Kaufmann’s native Austria. The product range features organic oils and locally foraged plants like chamomile and sage. We love the minimal aesthetic of the brand and packaging, and the simplicity of the products—no extra frills, bells, and whistles here, just good, clean, targeted products that offer real results. Even model Michèle Ouellet is a fan of the skincare line.
Our most beloved product is the Susanne Kaufmann Moisturizing Mask. This creamy, dreamy formula feels like a hug for your skin—it’s super nourishing and hydrating, and leaves us with a dewy glow. It’s a lifesaver in the winter if you have dry, sensitive skin like us, but it’s not greasy and is light enough to use in summer or warmer climates, too. You can use it like a traditional face mask, or use our pro tip: apply it like a night cream and snooze in it all night long. You’ll wake up to fresh, soft, supple skin.
